Nations describes the intentions behind this work in a brief introduction: \"The idea of, in front, behind, inside, this absurd fable is to break it down into small parts, and by the use of triviality in an inflationary way, destroy it.\"\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis mimeographed typescript includes several corrections, and was probably a prepublication draft (the work was published in 1971 by the Covent Garden Press in an edition of 500). We do not know for sure who \"Patrick and Tuli\" are, but the latter could possibly be the counterculture icon Tuli Kupferberg, who contributed to Nations' mimeograph magazine \"Strange Faeces\" (thus the unusual inscription).
